Today I have Carson Covington leading us in the pledge to the flag.
I have invited Mr. Vincent Scott to speak with us about our character words for November: Patriotism & Citizenship. Mr. Scott attended Farragut and served as the Battalion Commander and was the Valedictorian for his 1985 graduating class. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Software Engineering from the Naval Academy. He also earned his Masters of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland. After graduating from the Naval Academy, Vince spent 21 years in the Navy. During his career in the Navy, he worked in intelligence, technology, and cybersecurity. Mr. Scott is currently a Cyber Security Consultant with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, the world’s largest auditing and consulting firm.
Can I please have Mr. Whitney and our 3rd-grade class come up. They will be singing – “This Land is Your Land”.
